The Wet Ink to Ink Guarantee

From Signed Contract to Delivered Check

The name says it all. "Wet Ink" is the moment your client signs the contract — pen still wet on paper. "Ink" is when the settlement check clears your account. Everything in between is our job.

Most restoration contractors spend 8–12 hours per week chasing adjusters, preparing documentation, and managing billing disputes. That's time not spent running jobs or growing your business — and it's time where a missed follow-up or documentation error can cost you thousands.

Precision Estimates eliminates that entirely. One flat percentage-based fee covers every step — estimating, billing, negotiation, collections, and everything in between. You focus on the work. We focus on getting you paid.

The 5-Step Process

Every Claim. Every Time.

Here is exactly what happens from the moment you bring us a claim to when the money hits your account.

1
Step 1 of 5
Gather, Review & Submit

You bring us the job — scope notes, photos, moisture readings, contracts. We review everything before a single document goes to the carrier. Errors at submission cause delays; we catch them first.

📋What you provide: Contract · Photos · Scope notes · Moisture readings
2
Step 2 of 5
Xactimate® Estimate Written

Full Xactimate or Symbility estimate produced within 24–48 hours by former instructors. All applicable line items, current Florida market pricing, and supplement opportunities identified upfront.

⏱️Turnaround guarantee: 24–48 hours — even during storm season surges
3
Step 3 of 5
Narrative & Daily Follow Up

We write the claim narrative explaining exactly what happened and why full payment is justified — then follow up with adjusters daily until the claim moves forward. Not weekly. Daily.

📞Follow-up frequency: Daily contact keeps your claim from aging
4
Step 4 of 5
Negotiation & Settlement

We fight back against low-ball offers — defending every line item with documentation, code references, and IICRC standards. No settlement is accepted without your explicit approval.

🤝Your control: You set the minimum — we negotiate within your parameters
5
Step 5 of 5 — The Ink
Recovery & Collection

Settlement delivered to your account. We track the payment until it clears, reconcile it against the outstanding invoice, and close the file. This is when we earn our fee.

💰The Precision Promise: We don't get paid until you get paid

Why It Works

What Makes Precision Estimates Different

Performance-Based Only

We earn nothing until your settlement clears. That alignment of incentives is why we fight harder than any in-house billing person.

📞

Daily Follow-Up

Most billing companies follow up weekly. We follow up daily when needed — because adjusters have hundreds of files and daily contact keeps yours moving.

🎓

Former Instructors

Our estimating team taught Xactimate. They know every line item, every carrier tactic, and how to write documentation that carriers accept without dispute.

🌀

Storm Season Ready

We pre-staff for Florida storm season every year. When a CAT event hits and your claim volume surges, our turnaround stays at 24–48 hours. No excuses.

Common Questions

Questions About How It Works

We charge one fair percentage of the settlement amount collected — covering Xactimate estimating, billing, adjuster follow-up, negotiation, supplement writing, and collections. You pay nothing upfront and nothing unless we collect. The specific percentage is discussed on your free discovery call.
To start a claim we need: your client's signed contract or AOB, photos of the loss, scope notes or field documentation, any moisture readings or dry logs for water claims, and any existing carrier correspondence. We guide you through exactly what's needed for your specific loss type.
Timeline varies by carrier, loss type, and complexity. Most standard mitigation claims settle within 30–90 days. Complex fire or reconstruction claims can take 90–180 days or longer. Our daily follow-up process keeps claims moving as fast as the carrier allows.
Yes — completely. You approve every settlement before we accept it. You set the minimum acceptable amount and we negotiate within those parameters. You have real-time visibility into every claim through our CRM dashboard.
A denial is not the end. We review the denial reason, prepare a detailed response with supporting documentation, and resubmit through the carrier's review process. We have a strong track record overturning Florida claim denials — especially on mold and water damage claims.
Yes. While our full claims management BPO is the most comprehensive option, you can engage us for any individual service — Xactimate estimating only, billing and collections only, or supplement writing only. We work with contractors at every level of need.
